1. Check the components for visible damage. Damaged components must
not be mounted.
2. Ensure that the dimensions and tolerances of the plant are suitable for
attachment (for details, see dimension drawing).
3. Ensure that the motor can be assembled in a clean, dry and dust-free
environment.
4. Have tools and auxiliary materials ready.
5. Check all components, mounting surfaces and threads for cleanliness.
Record all measures taken in the commissioning log.
1. Dismount the protective covers attached to the mounting feet to have
free access to the mounting holes.
2. Adjust the energy storage device so that the mounting feet match the at‐
tachment points of the machine.
3. Firmly connect the energy storage device to the machine (for tightening
torques, see Fig.6-1).
4. Reattach the protective covers to the mounting feet.
5. After proper mechanical assembly, carry out the electrical connection.
WARNING
Any work required on the electric system may be carried out
only by skilled electricians. Tools for electricians (VDE tools)
are absolutely necessary.
Prior to commencing work:
1. Isolate (even auxiliary circuits).
2. Secure against reactivation.
3. Ensure de-energization.
4. Ground and short-circuit.
5. Cover or shield any adjacent live parts.
WARNING
Any work may only be carried out while the motor is at
standstill.
Never connect or disconnect plug connectors under load!

Danger! Electric voltage! Operations in the vi‐
cinity of live parts are extremely dangerous.
High electric voltage! Danger to life, risk of in‐
jury by electric shock.
