3. Using your appliance

3.1 Commissioning

If you wish your appliance to start heating the first time it is powered, simply
hold down the
button for 2 seconds, select COMFORT mode

Every time there is a power shortage of more than 1 hour, the blinking of the
screen and of the
symbol indicates that the time needs to be set (see chapter 4.1).
If you do not wish to set the time immediately, you can interrupt the blinking of
the screen by pressing any of the keys. The clock
blink to remind you that the time has not been set.

Your control panel helps you understand the energy consumption level
which corresponds to your chosen temperature level. The cursor is placed
opposite the coloured block which corresponds to the energy consumption level
of this setpoint temperature.
nOTe:
The screen light automatically goes out after 30 seconds without any key being
pressed. This standby function does not affect the operation of your radiator,
and pressing any key will reactivate the light.

3.3 Operating mode selection

7 operating modes (Frost Protection, Eco, Comfort, Auto, programs P1, P2 and
P3) are available, by pressing the MODE key repeatedly. All temperature modifications
must be made in COMFORT mode (see below).
A heating indicator informs you that your radiator
is heating when the desired temperature set on your
radiator or your programming base unit exceeds the
room temperature measured by your radiator.
