7.2 Installation location selection of ODU
Pay attention to the following conditions when selecting installation location:
(1) Select a place that can carry the weight of the unit to install and fix, so that the unit will not shake or
fall.
(2) The installation site should fully consider the influence of strong winds, typhoons and earthquakes,
and strengthen the installation.
(3) The influence of flammable, explosive, corrosive gases or exhaust gases should be avoided as much
as possible.
(4) Making sure that there is a certain heat exchange and maintenance space, so that the ventilation of
the unit is smooth and reliable.
(5) ODU and IDU should be as close as possible to each other to minimize the length and angle of the
refrigeration pipes.
(6) Do not allow children to be close to the unit. Preventive measures should be taken in advance to
prevent children from contacting the unit.
(7) The unit should not be installed in places with high environmental pH, large voltage fluctuations,
vehicles and ships.
(8) It should not be installed in a place close to the equipment that generates electromagnetic waves.
Electromagnetic waves can affect the control system and cause unit failure.
