SAFETY SUMMARY

The following recommendations are made for the safe
installation of the Raised Toilet Seat:
GENERAL WARNINGS
DO NOT install this equipment without first read-
ing and understanding this instruction sheet. If you
are unable to understand these Warnings, Cau-
tions and Instructions, contact a healthcare pro-
fessional, dealer or technical personnel if appli-
cable before attempting to install this equipment
- otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
Be sure to center your weight on the Raised Toilet
Seat as the seat may tip if you lean too far for-
ward or to either side.
Invacare recommends using a Toilet Safety
Frame or Grab Bars in addition to the Raised Toi-
let Seat.
Users with limited physical capabilities should be
supervised or assisted when using the Raised Toi-
let Seat.
The Raised Toilet Seat can provide assistance to
an individual weighing up to 250 lbs. (114 kg.)
INSTALLATION WARNING
Although this seat is designed for most popular toi-
lets, it may not work on certain unusual or artistic
bowls. Inspect for fit and stability prior to use.
CAUTION
DO NOT use an abrasive detergent, cleaner
or cloth to clean/dry the Raised Toilet Seat.
Assembly, Installation and Operating Instructions
INSTALLING RAISED TOILET SEAT
(FIGURE 1)
1. Remove contents from the carton.
NOTE: The existing toilet seat and lid can be flipped up
or removed depending upon the usage of the Raised
Toilet Seat.
2. Position the raised toilet seat with the tall end to-
wards the rear of the toilet and the inner ring over the
toilet bowl opening.
3. Push DOWN on the raised toilet seat to install in the
toilet bowl.
4. To ensure proper installation the inner ring must
be positioned inside the toilet bowl as shown in
FIGURE 1.
5. To remove, lift UP on raised toilet seat.

CLEANING
1. Use a non-abrasive detergent or cleaner with
warm water.
2. Rinse with warm water and wipe with a non-abra-
sive cloth.
