A total of six rails support printer movement.
Direction of

To lubricate the rails:
1. Open the cover on the printer.
2. On the touchscreen, tap Maintenance, then tap Service Station. This moves the internal
mechanism to the side so you can access the side to side rails.
3. Apply a light coating of dry film lubricant to the two horizontal (X-axis) rails in the back of the
printer.
4. Tap OK on the touchscreen. The printer chassis moves back to its ready position on the
service station, exposing the two vertical Z-axis rails.
