FAN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the recoil starter (page 10-3).
Remove the auto throttle (If equipped) (page 7-5).
Open the harness clip and disconnect the engine wire
harness connector (Without control box type).
When installing, refer to the HARNESS AND TUBE
ROUTING (page 2-10).

The fan cover can be removed
with the recoil starter assembly
