Classification According to the Medical Product Law (in German MPG) the tergumed ® 710 machine is a Class 1 medical device with a measurement function. The machines are compliant with the requirements of EN ISO 20957-1 / ISO 20957-2-class S (= Studio) or I (= Rehab) and are intended for use in industrial facilities.
Secure installation of the machine The installation of this machine should be carried out directly by • the manufacturer or by a proxomed® authorised service technician. Safe operation of the machine The correct function of the machine is guaranteed when the ambient temperature is in the range of 18 - • 22° Celsius (before the first time use after setting up, allow the machine to acclimatise for at least 24 hours at the specified ambient temperature).

The five tergumed 710 test and training machines train the relevant muscle groups that are for the stabilisation of the spinal column. The name of each machine refers to the movement that is performed with the appropriate machine for the test or training (Extension, Flexion, Lateral flexion, Rotation, Cervical (-extension, -flexion, -lateral flexion).)
Characterisation of the patients The use of the tergumed 710 is intended for users from 14 to 80 years old, as long as the ergonomic requirements are met and the necessary support is ensured. 13.5 tergumed ® 710 Cervical Trainer, item 10350500 General Information With this machine, the dorsal, ventral and the lateral cervical muscles are trained. The implementation of the initial test or a training session on the tergumed ® Cervical Trainer should always take place with the positioning in the extension movement and the other directions of movement based on these settings.
The lever arm length can be continuously adapted after releasing the rotary screw. The starting position (in flexion) for the extension movement can be set in 7.5 ° steps by pulling the locking pin on the excenter. The weight load can be continuously adapted to the weight stack with the adjustment wheel.
