    Exercise instructions The correct positioning of the patient in the starting position contributes greatly to the quality and effectiveness of the exercise. The machines are used to train the exercises in a sitting position. The back, in particular the lumbar spinal col- umn, is to be actively stabilised during the exercise execution by an upright sitting position.
