4.2 Sending PocketMail Messages and Faxes

When you press
Outbox and queued for sending. The next time you connect to the PocketMail
server, the messages in the Outbox are sent.
If you want to draft an email or fax and edit it at a later time, you can mark it with a
hold status. Simply highlight the message and press H to hold it in the Outbox. It
will remain in your Outbox until you remove the hold status.
For information on how to connect to and communicate with the PocketMail
server, see the Quick Start Guide in the beginning of this manual. For information
on compatible phones you can use with the Composer, see Section 2.6.

4.3 Reading PocketMail Messages

Your Inbox and each personal folder will hold a maximum of 294 messages. If you
receive a warning notice from the PocketMail server that your Inbox is full, you
may move messages to a personal folder and then connect to the PocketMail server
again to get your additional messages. If your message folders and/or organizer
features fill up all available memory, delete as many messages and other items as
you can and then use the Memory feature from the main screen to run the
Compress utility.
After you connect to the PocketMail server, a list of messages you have received
appears in the Inbox. You can open and read a message from the Inbox or from
any folder you have transferred a message to.
You can also receive messages from other email accounts in your
PocketMail account. This feature can be set up using mailbox
consolidation. For more information, see Section 6.6.
To read a message:
1. Select the message you want to read and press

2. If there is a scroll bar to the right of the screen, then there is additional text
in the message body that is not currently shown Use the
arrow buttons to navigate the message.
