3.5 Using the Address Book

The address book allows you to store individual email addresses, fax numbers, and
other contact information. You can also create and store groups of email addresses
and fax numbers for use as distribution lists.
When composing a message, you have the option to type in an email address or fax
number directly, or you can use the address book's lookup feature to automatically
enter the address or fax number. This makes the address book particularly helpful
for messages to those people you contact frequently.

Address information is organized in records. Each record represents a person or
business with whom you communicate. Within each record are several lines for
email addresses and fax numbers in addition to lines for telephones, postal
addresses, and other information about the person or business.
To create a new Address Book record:
1. Press
ADDRESS
Benjamin, Michael
Jones, Tom
Menu
2. Press
and select New from the menu. A blank address record is
displayed.
3. Type the contact information in the appropriate lines, using the arrow
buttons to move between lines.
Done
4. Press
to save the address record.
To edit an Address Book record:
1. Press
and select the record you want to edit. Use the arrow buttons to
navigate through the list.
