4. LAN - lanp command
[Function]
Tests the communication with a LAN connected device.
[Note]
Any device (such as a PC or another cash register) can be used for the test as long as it's IP
address is [192.168.1.10].
If you execute the test without using a HUB, use a cross type LAN cable.
[Procedure]
(1) Connect the unit and opponent device with LAN cable.
(2) Touch "4" on the display panel.
(3) After the test, display indicates the test results.
If the result isOK: Display resumes SD/eMMC/USB/LAN MENU.
If the result is NG: Display shows "lanp ERROR 1".
IOC MENU
1. IPL CG
[Function]
Writes data in CG ROM.
[Note]
Do not execute this menu item unless you are specifically asked to do so.
[Procedure]
(1) Touch "1" on the display panel.
(2) Display indicates "IPL IOC CG. Are You Sure (Y or N) ?"
(3) Data writing starts by touching "Y" on the display panel.
(4) After data writing is executed, the display resumes IOC MENU and rear display shows check pattern.
2. Rear LCD
[Function]
Tests rear display.
[Procedure]
(1) Touch "2" on the display panel.
(2) Touching "2" repeatedly changes the display as follows.
"Character string" > "Reversed character string" > "Check" > "All white" > "Backlight off" >
"Backlight on (duty ratio 100%)"
(3) Display indicates "Push Switch OK: DISP-sw or NG: INIT-sw".
(4) Push corresponding switch described below to check the test result.
In case of OK: Display resumes IOC MENU by pushing Main display OFF/ON switch.
In case of NG: Display indicates "rlcd ERROR 1" by pushing "INIT" switch. Display resumes
IOC MENU by pushing "Main display OFF/ON" switch.
Pressing "Main display OFF/ON" switch resumes SD/eMMC/USB/LAN MENU.
