Intelligent Video

The AXIS 242S IV Video Server is a 1-channel video server equipped with a Digital Signal
Processor (DSP) that makes it possible to add advanced video/audio applications, such as
people counting, trip wire detection and other advanced solutions.
This section describes how to upload and select Intelligent Video (IV) modules in the AXIS
242S IV. For more information on how to configure individual IV modules, see the
documentation supplied with the module, or see the video server's online help.

Module upload

To use an IV application in the AXIS 242S IV, the IV module must first be uploaded. If
your video server was supplied with an IV module preloaded, this section can be skipped.
To upload a new IV module, enter the file name and path to it in the text field provided, or
click the Browse button to locate the file and then click the Upload button. Once uploaded
the module will be available for selection in the IV module list.
