Electromagnetic Immunity

EN 61000-6-2
Electrical Equipment needs special precautions
regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put
into service according to the EMC information
provided in this manual.
Portable
and
mobile
equipment can affect Medical or other Electrical
Equipment.
The TotalAlert Embedded control system is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below. The
customer or the user of the TotalAlert Embedded control system should assure that it is used in such an environment.

The use of accessories, transducers, and cables
other than those specified by the manufacturer,
may result in decreased immunity of the
TotalAlert Embedded control system.
The TotalAlert Embedded control system should
not be used adjacent to other equipment.
If adjacent use is necessary, the TotalAlert
Embedded control system should be observed
to verify normal operation in the configuration
in which it will be used.
Electromagnetic environment - guidance
Floors should be wood, concrete, metal or
ceramic tile. If floors are covered with synthetic
material, the relative humidity should be at least
30 %.
Mains power quality should be that of a typical
commercial or hospital environment.
