The AMIBIOS setup main menu is subdivided into sub-menus. Each menu item is described in this section.

Description

format.

Primary Master is where the HDD is
connected.
The secondary master controls the
ATAPI CD-ROM drive.
Description
[Enable]: The system automatically
reduces the LCD brightness when AC
power is removed to save power.
[Disable]: The LCD brightness remains
the same whether or not AC power is
present.
[Enable]: The system automatically
reduces the LCD brightness when AC
power is removed and the keyboard or
touchpad has been idle for more than
10 minutes.
[Disable]: The LCD Backlight Saver
function is disabled.
