8. To create an IP Routed interface on the VLAN:

a. Select Routing > IP > Configuration > Interfaces from
the Web Agent. The IP Interfaces dialog box opens.
b. Select CREATE from the bottom of the IP Interfaces dialog
box. The Add IP Interface dialog box opens.

d. Click CREATE to save your changes, or CANCEL to
restore previous settings.

Specify the administrative state of the interface.
Options include:

• EthernetLAN - Standard interface type for
a Broadcast environment such as Ethernet.
• NBMA - Non-Broadcast Multi-Access for
networks that do not have built in broadcast
capabilities yet allow multiple hosts to
connect, such as ATM.
Each IP interface on a network segment
must have the same Interface type.
Type must be set to NBMA if using a
Routed VSP.
• UP - The interface is active.
• DOWN - The interface is inactive.
