7. DO determine the soil type at your site and install the correct anchors.
8. DO place tower anchors according to the anchor manufacturer's recommenda-
tions.
9. DO properly ground the tower electrically.
10. DO thoroughly understand the tower erection procedure before beginning the in-
stallation.
YOU MUST BECOME FAMILIAR with all components of the tower, including hardware,
and how they function, before attempting to install the tower. Tall guyed towers can be
dangerous and you or members of your crew could be injured or killed.
