CSP–900–S4
Airframe Fuel Filter
(4). Install three bolts (23) and washers
(24) thru bracket (27), bond jumper
(26), enclosure (9), spacers (25), and
into the airframe fuel filter (2).
(a). Torque bolts to 100 inch−lbs
(11.29 Nm).
(b). Seal bolts (23) with sealing com
pound (C208).
(5). Install inlet (19) and outlet (20) shroud
hoses.
(6). If necessary, install fuel drain valve
(17) and packing (18) into reducer
fitting (14). Torque fuel drain valve 95
to 105 inch−lbs (10.73 to 11.86 Nm).
(7). Install hose (15) on fuel drain valve
(17). Use lockwire (C702).
(8). Install packing (16) and reducer fitting
(14) into the bottom of the airframe fuel
filter (2). Torque reducer fitting
155−165 inch lbs (17.51 to 18.64).
(9). Install fitting seal (8) into enclosure (9).
(a). Install hose (15) on adapter hose
fitting (13). Use lockwire (C702).
(b). Install washer (12) and nut (11) on
fitting seal (8).
(c). Install hose (10) on adapter hose
fitting (13).
(10). Install drain control (1).
(Ref. Drain Control Installation).
(11). Install electrical plug to connector (7).

(12). Apply thin bead of conductive sealant
(13). Install 22 bolts (3) and washers (4) that

A. Enclosure Removal
(1). Remove airframe fuel filter (2)
(2). Remove four bolts (28) and washers (4)
(3). Remove enclosure (9).
B. Enclosure Installation
(1). Install four bolts (28) and washers (4)
(2). Perform electrical bond check Class C
(3). Install airframe fuel filter (2).
Sealant, Conductive (C229)
(C229) to faying surfaces between
access cover (5) and enclosure (9).
attach access cover (5) and drain
control guard (6) to the enclosure (9).
(Ref. CSP−SPM).
Leak Check/Pressure Test.
This task is typical for LH and RH air
(Ref. Airframe Fuel Filter Removal).
