14. Airframe Fuel Filter Drain Control

(Ref. Figure 207)
Prevent fuel vapor ignition.
WARNING
Turn OFF and disconnect all
electrical power. Electrically ground
helicopter before opening fuel system.

NOTE:
This task is typical for LH and RH air
frame fuel filter drain control.
A. Drain Control Removal
(1). Disconnect battery and external power
(Ref. CSP−900RMM−2).
(2). Place suitable fuel container under fuel
drain lines.
(3). Push the drain control (1) to drain fuel
from filter bowl (2).
(4). Remove 22 bolts (3) and washers (4)
from access cover (5) and drain control
guard (6). Remove cover and drain
control guard.
(5). Remove bolt (12), washer (13) and
clamp (14) from drain control valve (1).
(6). Remove two bolts (15), washers (16)
and packings (17) that attach the drain
control (1) to the enclosure (22).

(7). Pull the drain control (1) with spacer
