Airframe Fuel Filter
Turn on fuel boost pumps during draining.
Drain any residual water in the filter unit
through the drain valve on the bottom of the
filter unit.

11. Cleaning

Clean surface by wiping with a clean non−lint
cloth (C802) moistened with cleaning solvent
(C425). Reference CSP−SPM, Section
20−20−00).

12. Continued Airworthiness

A. Airworthiness Limitations
There are no Airworthiness Limitations
associated with this type design.
Refer to CSP−900RMM−2, Section 04−00−00,
Airworthiness Limitations, for scheduled
mandatory replacement times (life limits) of
other rotorcraft components and assemblies.
B. Overhaul Period
Not applicable.
C. Operational Checks
System operational procedures are performed
to isolate reported problems with the specified
system, when a module or component has been
replaced that requires alignment , after
correcting a malfunction and as specified in
the equipment manufacturers publications.
D. Inspection Requirements
This section contains requirements for
scheduled inspections. MDHI developed the
Airframe Periodic and Airframe Segmented
Inspection Programs, as the Manufacture's
Recommended Inspection Program for the
helicopter, in compliance with Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) Federal Aviation
Regulations (CFR) Part 91. 409. (Ref.
CSP−900RMM−2, Chapter 05).
The owner/operator is responsible for the
selection of an inspection program, and if
required by regulation, for its approval by the
governing aviation authority.
Inspections shall be performed in accordance
with the following instructions in compliance

with the scheduled airframe inspection
program selected by the operator.
Compliance with the MD900 Rotorcraft
Maintenance Manual (RMM) information is
required, and the manual consulted when
using the inspection schedules for specific
airframe maintenance activity or inspection
requirements and procedures.
The helicopter's approved maintenance
schedule shall be amended to include the
inspection defined in this section.
