Sensor IQ 500kcmil Kit (240V/277V)

Overview

500kcmil kits are available for installation into 48-channel Sensor IQ panels
to support a single conductor feed of 400A. The kits are available in
240V/277V and 120V versions. Contact your ETC customer service
representative for more information.

WARNING:

Remove

1: Pull gently to remove the plastic cover (marked with the ETC logo) from the front of the Sensor IQ
bus structure. Set the cover aside.
2: Remove the phase lugs from the Sensor IQ interior. Keep the 3/8-16 nuts for reassembly. (Phase lugs
can be recycled.)
3: Remove the four 10-32 screws securing the neutral bars, including the screw securing the small
neutral wire onto the left neutral bar. Keep the screws for reassembly

before working inside the panel could result in serious injury or death.
De-energize main feed to the breaker panel and follow appropriate Lockout/
Tagout procedures as described in NFPA Standard 70E. It is important to note
that electrical equipment such as breaker panels can present an arc flash safety
hazard if improperly serviced. This is due to available large short circuit currents
on the feeders of the equipment. Any work on energized equipment must
comply with OSHA Electrical Safe Working Practices.
