applicable regulations. Warning: any tags/ advertising labels attached to the cord or
other parts are to be removed before using the appliance.
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage values on the data plate
match those of the power supply. If the power socket and the appliance's plug are
not compatible, have the plug replaced with a suitable model by a qualified
professional, who should ensure that the cable is appropriate for the power rating
of the appliance. Check that other devices with high absorption are not connected
to the power line to avoid overloading and fire hazards. The use of adaptors or
extensions is generally not recommended; if it is necessary to use them, they must
comply with safety regulations and the total current (amps) must not be rated lower
than the maximum current of the appliance.
• The plug must be easy to access so that it can be easily disconnected in case of an
emergency.
• The surface where the appliance is used must be stable, spacious (do not use on
shelves, stairs), level (since the appliance could tip over) and even to avoid the risk
of tipping and/or liquid overflowing.
• Ensure that the power cable is correctly positioned and does not come into
contact with hot parts or sharp edges, nor become wound around the appliance
itself, is not twisted and does not snag, in order to prevent the appliance from
falling. Make sure there's no risk of tripping, to prevent people from accidentally
tripping over it or being injured. Also check that the cord does not go under
carpets, or under the appliance itself.
• If there is a fault or the appliance is not working correctly, switch the appliance
off and have it checked by qualified professional staff; repairs done by an
unqualified person can be dangerous and cause the guarantee to become void.
