How to clean the VisualEyes™ system
Before you clean:
Cleaning procedure:
Recommended cleaning and disinfectant solutions
Lens cleaning cloth (microfiber), damp cloth, Sani-Cloth RF3 disinfectant wipes
NOTICE:
Please follow the instructions on the label of Sani-Cloth RF3 disinfectant wipes for usage
and disposal.
Procedure:
Video goggles and goggle straps should be cleaned with a Sani-Cloth RF3 disinfectant wipe between
patients.
Goggle mirrors, camera lenses and IR coated mirrors must be cleaned regularly with microfiber lens
cleaning cloth to remove stains and dust and this helps to avoid shadows on the displayed images.
Side mounted camera goggles straps can be machine washed at 40°C using normal washing
detergents. Do not tumble dry. Please note that the elastic qualities may deteriorate after more than
10 washing cycles, after which the straps should be replaced.
Foam pads used in the side mounted camera goggles must be replaced after every single patient to
avoid cross infection. Refer to section
The touch screen on PC can be cleaned by the microfiber lens cleaning cloth when the monitor is
turned off. If the touch screen needs further cleaning, use a Sani-Cloth RF3 disinfectant wipe to clean
the surface. Allow the cleaning solution to completely dry before turning on the computer and
monitor.
All other external / exposed surface of the equipment and accessories can be regularly cleaned with
a soft damp cloth. This projector, keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, remote, emergency switch etc.

Warranty and Service

5.2.1

Product warranty

Interacoustics warrants that:
The VisualEyes™ system is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and
service for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery by Interacoustics to the first purchaser
Accessories are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a
period of ninety (90) days from the date of delivery by Interacoustics to the first purchaser
If any component requires service during the applicable warranty period, the purchaser should communicate
directly to the local distributor to determine the appropriate repair facility. Repair or replacement will be
carried out at Interacoustics' expense, subject to the terms of this warranty. The product requiring service
should be returned promptly with proper packing, and postage prepaid. Loss or damage in return shipment to
Interacoustics shall be at purchaser's risk. In no event shall Interacoustics be liable for any incidental, indirect
or consequential damages in connection with the purchase or use of any Interacoustics product. This shall
apply solely to the original purchaser.
