4 Operating Instructions

System Startup

4.1.1

Turn on the power sources and accessories

Ensure that the laptop/PC systems and USB hub are power connected.
Ensure that the goggle cameras (binocular or monocular) are connected to the computer.
If applicable ensure that the VORTEQ
hub.

Entering patient information

Please refer to the OtoAccess® Database Instructions for Use on how to enter/access the patient information.
VisualEyes™505 Home screen
Launch the VisualEyes™ software from OtoAccess® Database. When the Micromedical VisualEyes™ software
is launched, the home screen will appear. Patient information is retrieved from OtoAccess® Database and is
displayed on the home screen

4.4 Room recording

The operator can set up a room video recording on the computer's main screen to record and save the patient
session during patient interview and test procedures. The operator can also pause and restart the recording as
many times as he/she wishes. The video will be saved once BEGIN TESTING has been selected or the user
leaves the main screen. Refer to 'Addtional information' to learn more.
