Charging the battery

Charging the battery
Before charging the battery, it is best to remove it
from the motorcycle.
Undo the screw (2) and remove battery (1) mounting
bracket (3).
Lift the protective sheath (4) and then unscrew the
retaining screws (5) and remove the following from
the corresponding terminals:
- the negative cable (6);
- the positive cable (7).
Remove the battery (1) sliding it upwards.
Attention
The battery gives off explosive gases; never
cause sparks or allow naked flames and cigarettes
near the battery. When charging the battery, ensure
that the working area is properly ventilated.
Charge the battery in a ventilated room.
Connect the battery charger leads to the battery
terminals: the red one to the positive terminal (+),
the black one to the negative terminal (-).
Charge the battery at 0.9 A for 5÷10 hours.
Attention
Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
