    ASSEMBLY WARNING Before assembly, make sure that the grass trimmer is switched off and unplugged. FITTING THE GUARD (See Figure 2 & Figure 3.) 1. Place the guard onto the grass trimmer as shown in Figure 2 and rotate the guard in position in Figure 3.
  • Page 11 ASSEMBLY FITTING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE (See Figure 7& Figure 8.) Loosen and remove the wing nut and bolt from the auxiliary handle. 1. Place the auxiliary handle on the upper shaft. Adjust the handle to mount on the index channel as shown.
  • Page 12 ASSEMBLY PREPARING THE TRIMMER FOR USE (See Figure 10 & Figure 11.) 1.Attach the outlet end of an extension cord to the plug on the rear of the grass trimmer.
