SENSOR FITTING AND OBSTACLE DETECTION
Correct Position: height, inclination and
orientation are correct.*
Sensors are excessively turned upwards
=> low obstacles are not detected.
Sensors are excessively turned
downwards => false alarms due to ground
detection.
Sensors fitted too low => false alarms due
to ground detection.
Sensors fitted too high => low obstacles are
not detected.
Sensors have been properly fitted but the
vehicle weight has changed => the
performance of the parking system is affected
by the added weight.
