33. CAUTION: The temperatures of the appliance parts, grill plate
and die­cast plate are very high during and some time after
use! Do not touch the hot appliance parts. Always let the
appliance cool down completely first – risk of burns!
34. Always switch the appliance off with the red main switch, dis­
connect the power plug and the connection adapter from the
appliance when not using the appliance or before cleaning it.

35. Only plug the power plug into the power socket resp. only
switch the appliance on if the appliance is placed on a dry,
stable and heat resistant surface.
36. Never place empty or used pans or spatulas on the hot grill
plate or cooking surfaces – the food leftovers burn! Always use
the cold zone as a depositing area, meaning the heat resistant
stainless steel plate.
37. NOTE: When using the appliance for the first time, a little bit
of smoke might develop. This is normal for appliances that heat
up during use and will stop after a short period of time.
38. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully
switched off.
39. Should you notice a strange smell or sound, pull the plug. Do
not start using the appliance again before having its function­
ality and safety checked by Solis or a service centre authorised
by Solis.
40. Keep the appliance clean. Always switch the appliance off
and pull the plug from the power socket and the connection
adapter from the appliance socket before cleaning and storing
the appliance. Please refer to the notes given in the section
"Cleaning and care" on page 65 of this manual.
41. Always fully unwind the power cord before connecting the
connection adapter to the appliance socket and the power
plug to the power socket.
