5. Remove the spark plug (see page 11).

6. Apply a couple of drops of clean engine oil into the cylinder. Install
the top cover temporarily, pull the starter grip several times to
distribute the oil in the cylinder.

provisionalmente la cubierta superior y tire varias veces de la
empuñadura del arrancador para que el aceite se distribuya por el

7. Remove the top cover, then reinstall the spark plug. Install the top
cover, and tighten the hex bolt securely.

8. Pull the starter grip slowly until resistance is felt.

Correction
Move lever to CLOSED position unless the
engine is warm (p. 5).
Turn engine switch to ON position (p. 6).
Refuel (p. 3).
Drain fuel tank and carburetor (p. 14). Refuel
with fresh gasoline (p. 3).
Gap or replace spark plug (p. 11-12).
Allow the spark plug to dry. After drying, install
the spark plug and start the engine (p. 11-12).
Take engine to your servicing dealer, or refer
to shop manual.
Clean or replace filter element (p. 4-5).
Drain fuel tank and carburetor (p. 14).
Refuel with fresh gasoline (P. 3).
