Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions, damage or physical injury:
Please read this manual carefully and use the charger only
according to this manual.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and
briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
Only use this charger for charging 12 V / 24 V sealed lead-acid
batteries and do not charge dry-cell batteries, otherwise the
batteries might explode.
Make sure not to cause a short-circuit by accidentally touching
voltage-carrying parts with the quick clamps and observe right
polarity.
Do not stress the cord. Do not bend the cord and keep it away
from hot and sharp surfaces. Do not wind the cord around the
unit.
Do not expose the charger to excessive temperatures and avoid
strong mechanical stress of the unit and the cord. Do not expose
the charger to rain, snow or wet conditions.
Make sure the quick clamps do not touch each other while the
unit is in operation.
The charger may not be used if the charger itself or the power
cable are damaged. If this happens, please have the unit
repaired by a professional.
Do not operate the charger in the vicinity of strong magnetic and
high-frequency (HF) fields.
Only operate the charger indoors.
