Storing a number of the Caller ID list into
the speed dialing number

Press one of the dialing keys ((0) to (9)) to store the phone number on.
You hear a long confirmation beep and the name and number are stored.

Press (OFF).
Notes
• If you enter a new phone number on the same speed dialing number, the previously stored
number is erased. To avoid erasing numbers by mistake, check the stored phone number first
(see page 19).
• Do not allow more than one minute to elapse between each step of the procedure.
• If the number displayed in step 1 is not the one you should store, you can
change the number of digits of the phone number as described on page 28.
• If the phone is connected to a Private Branch Exchange (PBX), you may need to add an outside
line access digit after storing (see page 19).
Tip
You can change the name after storing into the speed dialing number, if necessary (see page 19).

Display the name and phone
number you want to store from
the Caller ID list (see page 23).

Confirm the number and press
(ENTER).
DIAL PGM ERASE
1-201-123-4567

Press $ to make "PGM" flash
and press (ENTER).
"ENTER ADDRESS" appears on
the display.
