    INTRODUCTION TO THE PRECIS The Precis is available in an 8x4 or 12x8 (some models also come in 8x8) configuration with a variety of control and connector options. A Precis Control Panel works in three standard modes: Switch (default), Status, and Macro.

    Input Gain Control option. Caution: We recommend that input gain adjustments be made only by a qualified dealer. The purpose of Precis “Input Gain Control” is to allow source (input) signals of various amplitudes to be equalized before they are routed and the volume is adjusted.
