Intended use

This product is designed to make operation of an exhaust unit such as an
extractor hood or an air drier even safer. By using this switch, the exhaust
system will only be switched on when it is certain that sufficient pressure
compensation is possible, e.g. via an open window or an open external door.
This is monitored by a magnetic switch set to be installed by the user.
Monitoring of the fresh air supply is supported by this device but it is not
a replacement for monitoring by the user.
The magnetic switch set required by the product must be permanently instal-
led as described in the chapter on installation.
This product is also suitable for monitoring other loads, e. g. to switch lights
on or off when a door is opened.
This product is approved for connection to 230 Volt / 50 Hz (10/16 A) alterna-
ting voltage sockets with earthing contact.
It may only be used in dry, enclosed areas. Contact with moisture must be
avoided at all times. The product is not suitable for industrial use.
Any use other than that described above is not permitted. Such misuse is
dangerous and could result in short circuiting, fire, electrical shocks etc.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
