PLAYING MUSIC FROM & TO PORTABLE
DEVICES
Besides playing music form local or network hard drives, SD Cards, TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, and vTuner, the DMS can play
music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more from most any music/audio app or music/audio stored on a phone/tablet with
Airplay, Bluetooth, and PhoneShare. Keep in mind that any service or stored music that is lower than CD quality (as most
are) will not suffer in audio quality and could be as high as or even better than CD quality depending on method and
associated hardware. Please read below to learn more about each method.

AIRPLAY AND PHONESHARE CONNECTION

Airplay is primarily for iOS devices while PhoneShare is for Android devices. They both require a wireless Wi-Fi connection
from your portable device to your network router. The DMS-700 must also be connected to your router (either via Wi-Fi or
wired Ethernet). The advantages of Airplay and PhoneShare is that since it relies on Wi-Fi the range of which you can send
music to the DMS-700 from your portable device is much greater than Bluetooth.

AIRPLAY PLAYBACK

1. Open your desired music app and look for this icon
2. Tap on the icon and wait for available device(s) to appear.
