ACTIVATE
1. Open package for space and verify you have the correct number of sensors/mounting brackets by referencing the installation plan.
2. Activate sensors by opening the sensor and pulling out the battery tab as shown below (Note: This must be done in the space the sensor is assigned to;
activating the sensor in any other location may cause the sensor to not communicate properly when installed.)

Push/slide lock at end of sensor to unlock position

Immediately after battery is activated, turn the sensor over to see the LED flashing pattern.
After the LED blinks (RED-YELLOW-GREEN) the sensor will be activated.
Once the sensor is activated:
•
The LED will begin to blink RED continuously until paired.
•
If pairing was successful, the LED will blink (GREEN-GREEN-GREEN).
•
Once the sensor is paired, the LED will NOT blink again.

Slide rear housing back in place and lock shut. Sensor will not fit in the mounting bracket unless the housing is locked.

Confirm sensor online status by looking at Device Manager in Workplace Advisor. If sensor is not online, begin troubleshooting.
THERE IS A RISK OF EXPLOSION IF THE BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT
TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT
COME PACKAGED WITH REPLACEMENT BATTERIES.
