The plates
for the sliding
carriage are pre-
installed onto the
endplates.

Remove the

stop studs on
both endplates to
allow the fitting of
the roller carriages.
Using a Pozi screwdriver, loosen

the locking collar bolt on the
non-drive end, allowing the shaft to
move in and out of the barrel tube
freely.
Lift the barrel into position with the
sliding carriage on the motor end
with the dual wheels at the top. Insert
the shaft into safety brake on the
non-drive endplate.
Re-insert the stud on

motor side endplate
to stop the carriage
coming out of the tracks
as it slides back. There are
two positions - select the
most suitable for roll size.

Fixing the Endplate to the

wall – There are multiple
countersunk holes to facilitate fixing.
The preferred positions are those
closest to the endplate.

Countersunk fixings should
be used. The fixing must not protrude
above the countersink as this will
result in curtain rub. Three sound
fixings per endplate are required - two
at the top and one at the bottom.

Fit the black spacing

below to prevent curtain rub.

Insert the sliding

carriage with the
pre-installed Gapossa
brake to the endplate with
the dual rollers to the top,
lifting the top rollers into
position first. Reinsert the
stop stud.

Fixing the motor cable – ensure the motor

cable routed through the pre-fitted 'P' clips
and is secured to the side and out of the way to
prevent curtain rub. Cable failure will result if the
cable is not correctly secured.
The cable must be free enough to allow for the
carriage travel when the door is opening and
