    The DM 70 can be placed on a microphone stand if the performer needs to have their hands free. To place the microphone on a stand, a microphone clip is required (sold separately). However, the slim design of the housing of the DM 70 means that it is likely to fit most standard microphone clips.
  • Page 7 Outdoor Use If you wish to use the DM 70 outdoors, it is advisable to use a microphone windshield (sold separately). A windshield is a foam cap that is placed over the grille of the microphone to protect it from outside influences and prevent unwanted ambient noise (like that caused by wind) from being picked up by the microphone, ensuring optimum clarity.
