Do not attempt to remove cut material from the blade bar or to hold material
to be cut when the blade bar is running. Remove jammed material from the
blade bar only after switching off the hedge trimmer. A moment of inattention
while operating the hedge trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
Keep the blade bar always sharp and clean.
Caution! Hot Surfaces. The muffler and the exhaust system become hot
during operation.
Do not force the hedge trimmer and do not apply pressure on the blade bar
while cutting.
While trimming scrubs or hedges make sure not to cut hidden electric wires
(fairy lights or similar).
Have sufficient rests!
Always use caution when handling fuel. Fuel is highly flammable and can
cause serious injury or property damage.
When fuel is accidentally spilt or may be ignited by a single spark, there is risk
of fire. When handling with fuel make sure not to spill it. Wipe up all spills and
start the hedge trimmer at least 3 m away from the fuelling point.
Keep the hedge trimmer away from all sources of sparks or flames. Do not
smoke while handling with fuel.
Keep open flames out of the area where fuel is mixed, poured or stored. Mix
and store the fuel in suitable containers only.
Be sure that the hedge trimmer stops moving immediately when the throttle
trigger (9) is released. First shut off the hedge trimmer and then lie down.
The hedge trimmer must be used only by one person at a time. Make sure
bystanders do not stay in the hedge trimmer's area of swing.
Make sure the hedge trimmer is not touching anything and moving free. Keep
all parts of your body away from the blade bar when the engine is running.
Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or fuel mixture.
Use only original accessories and original replacement parts.
When transporting the hedge trimmer always place the blade bar protection
(18) on the blade bar.
Should the hedge trimmer become damaged do not use it and have it
repaired by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do
not disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
