6.1 Introduction - troubleshooting

6.2 Fault messages

The fault messages in the table below are shown in the display of the product. Speak to your GARDENA customer
service if the same message shows frequently.
Message Cause
Wheel motor
Grass or other object around the drive wheel. Remove grass or other object.
blocked, left/right
Cutting system Grass or other object around the blade disc.
blocked
The blade disc is in water.
The grass is too high.
Trapped
The product is behind a number of obstacles
in a small area.
Outside working area A section of boundary wire is put across the
other section of boundary wire to the charg-
ing station.
The boundary wire is too near the edge of
the work area.
The work area slopes too much by the boun-
dary loop.
The boundary wire is put in the incorrect di-
rection around an island.
Interference to the boundary wire from metal
objects such as fences, reinforcement steel
or buried cables near by.
The product can not find the correct loop sig-
nal because of interference with a loop signal
from a different product installation near by.

6 Troubleshooting
Action
Remove grass or other object.
Move the product and prevent the collection
of water in the work area.
Cut the grass before you install the product.
Make sure that the grass is maximum 10
cm / 3.9 in.
Remove the obstacles or put the boundary
wire around the obstacle to make an island.
To make an island on page 17 .
Make sure that the boundary wire is connec-
ted correctly.
Make sure that the boundary wire is installed
correctly. Refer to
wire on page 20 .
Move the boundary wire.
Put the product in the charging station and
generate a new loop signal.
