4 Operation 4.1 Main switch Note: Always press the START button before closing the hatch to start the robotic lawnmower. 4.8 Charge a flat battery When the GARDENA robotic lawnmower is new or has been stored for a long period, the battery will be flat and needs to be charged before starting. WARNING: Only charge the robotic lawnmower using a charging station which is intended for it.
For better operating reliability and longer service life: check and clean the robotic lawnmower regularly and replace worn parts if necessary. All maintenance and servicing must be done according to GARDENA's Guarantee terms on page 54 . instructions. See When the robotic lawnmower is first used, the blade disc and blades should be inspected once a week.
