Changing over from round-jet to fan spraying
You can spray with either a round jet or fan jet as
required.
To adjust, simply turn the nozzle head to the right (1)
for a round jet or to the left (2) for a fan jet (see
picture).
Shutting down
Important!
Whenever you stop working and switch off the pump,
always depressurize the system by opening the
pistol.
Switch off the unit
Close the water tap

Shutting down for longer periods

If you do not intend to use the high-pressure cleaner
for a longer period of time, we recommend rinsing
the system thoroughly with an ample amount of
water. Use clean water without cleaning agents.
Antifreeze precautions
When the unit is stored away, it must be protected
from freezing up.
If you have to use a storage room that is very cold or
exposed to frost, it is advisable to fill the unit first with
an antifreeze agent. The unit can draw in the anti-
freeze most easily if the container is held at a higher
level.

Using the high-pressure cleaner again if unused
for longer periods
Depending on the degree of water hardness or accu-
mulated dirt, the pump may jam when the cleaner is
switched on again after a prolonged period of non-
use.
If this happens, you must turn the pump by hand.
Insert a screwdriver into the middle opening of the
housing sections (55+57) and turn until the pump
pistons move. Remove the screwdriver, turn on the
water supply, switch on the unit and pull the pistol
trigger

Monitoring and maintenance

Important!
Before beginning repair or maintenance work,
always remove the plug from the mains socket.
Repairing the cleaner while it is still connected to
the mains current supply is extremely dangerous
and can be fatal!
The unit requires no maintenance. It is delivered
Pull the plug out of the
already filled with oil for 300 operating hours. An oil
socket
change is necessary after 300 operating hours.
Changing the oil
To change the oil you must first remove the housing
sections from the unit by undoing the Philips screws.
Pull out the stopper (12) with a pair of pliers. Place a
suitable container ready to catch the old oil and drain
the cleaner by tipping it until the old oil runs out. Fill
in new oil through the same opening. You will need
1/4 litre of oil per filling. Use 15 W-40 oil or a multi-
grade oil.
Important!
Catch the old oil in a suitable container and dispose
of it properly.
Water supply
If the water supply line is excessively dirty, install a
filter in the water inlet.
Hoses
The high-pressure cleaner is equipped at the factory
with hoses designed for its operating pressures. If
these hoses need replacement, only ever use the
manufacturer´s original hoses or types of identical
quality bearing the necessary markings.
