Installing Optical Fibers
NOTE
Install cables in the following sequence. Install cables of the same type from the left to the right.
After service network cables are installed, you need to check the connectivity of cables.
When installing cables, place power cables towards the left and signal cables towards the right.
Install network cables.
Network cables include service
and auxiliary network cables.
Install optical fibers.
The bending radius of optical fibers must be greater than its minimum curvature radius.
The minimum curvature radius of 2 mm optical fibers is 40 mm.
CAUTION
When installing or maintaining optical fibers, do not look into the optical port without eye protection. See
Figure 1.
NOTE
When laying out optical fibers, take proper measures to avoid any damage to fiber connectors.
After optical fibers are installed, place protective caps on the idle optical interfaces and place fiber caps on
the idle optical fibers. See Figure 2.
The type of the fiber connector is LC/PC.
