Symptoms
No audio or output too
low.
Distorted sound.
"Err" on LCD display.
PC will not communicate
with speaker
Cause
No input audio.
Bad cables.
Source is turned down.
Input level too high and is
saturating the input ADC.
Note: the red LCD display
may not be indicating
clipping for this
circumstance.
Low frequency gain too
high.
Clipping (as indicated by
the red LCD display)
Speaker malfunction
Attempting to do things
too quickly on the front
panel or PC application.
Turning off one speaker in
a group of speakers
Application set to different
Com port
Speaker set to different
channel
Solution
Test with a known good
input. Increase input level
pot setting.
Replace the cables.
Increase source level.
Turn input level control
down.
Reduce all LF parametric
gain, lower the input level
pot, reduce trim gain or
lower the input signal.
Lower the input level
control, reduce Gain Trim
or lower the input signal.
Cycle power.
Call Technical Support.
Wait for speaker to re-sync
or cycle the power.
Wait for speaker to re-sync
or change the program on
the affected speaker and
then go back to the
original program.
Change port under
View/Options tab in
application
Make sure speaker and
application channels agree
