This introduction contains information critical to safe and effective servicing. To prevent personal injury or damage to the portable mainframe, consider the following requirements before attempting service: H The procedures in this manual should be performed only by a qualified service person.

Tektronix technicians train on Tektronix products; they have access to the latest information on improvements to the TLA 704 Color Portable Mainframe as well as the latest new product upgrades.
