12. Restoring the factory settings

It is possible to reset the device's factory settings. During
a restore, any preferences you have set will be lost.
Carry out a factory reset if you are giving the device
away or if a malfunction cannot be solved.
To restore the window and door contact to its factory settings,
proceed as follows:

Release the electronic unit (B) from the bracket (A) by sliding the
electronic unit upwards and removing it from the front (see Figure
2).

Remove one battery.

Reinsert the battery as per the polarity symbols and keep the
System button (C) pressed for four seconds until the LED (C)
begins to flash orange quickly (see Figure 3).

Now take your finger off the System button.

Press the System button again for four seconds until the LED turns
green.

Take your finger off the System button to complete the factory
setting restore.
The device will restart.
Once the factory reset is complete, the corresponding
devices will also need to be configured again.
