1. Intended use

This device is an audio, video, information and telecommunication
technology device, and reliably detects opened windows and doors
via a magnetic contact.
It may only be used for private purposes and is not for industrial or
commercial use. The device should also not be used in tropical
climates. The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage or faults
arising as a result of unauthorised modification of the device. Only use
the accessories specified by the manufacturer. Please observe the
national regulations and/or laws in the respective country of use.
In conjunction with a SilverCrest Smart Home access point, the
window and door contact can be conveniently integrated into the
SilverCrest Smart Home system using the free smartphone app, and
used for comprehensive indoor climate and security applications.
Opened windows and doors are displayed directly in the SilverCrest
Smart Home app, so you can check whether your windows and doors
are closed/opened even when you are away from home.
Alternatively, you can teach in the window and door contact directly
onto the SilverCrest Smart Home radiator thermostat, in order to
automatically lower the room temperature in the case of ventilation.
Any other use, other than that described in the operating instructions,
is deemed improper and will result in a loss of warranty and exclusion
of liability.
