Switching on ERBEJET 2
Switch on the ERBEJET 2 unit.

Selecting the program
1. Use the selection buttons to select a
program for your application.
2. Confirm using the OK selection button.

Connecting the fluid tube
connector and pump cartridge
Connect the fluid tube connector and
pump cartridge. The connector must audi-
bly click into place.
Note: For sterile procedures, the connection
should take place in a sterile area.

Inserting the pump cartridge
1. Wait until the ERBEJET 2 display shows
Please insert new cartridge!

2. Slide the pump cartridge into the pump
shaft. The pump cartridge must audibly
click into place.
Only for HybridKnife, HybridAPC
probe and monopolar applica-
tor:

Select program on VIO
1. Switch on the VIO.
2. Select a program for your application.

Connecting the neutral electrode
Connect the return electrode to the VIO.

Connect the HybridKnife or
monopolar applicator to the VIO
Insert the HF connector into a suitable
socket (see above).

Connect the HybridAPC probe to
the APC unit
Insert the FiAPC connector into the APC
socket.

Connect the separating medium to
the pump cartridge
1. Connect an infusion set to a bottle or a
bag with separating medium. The sepa-

rating medium is sterile, physiological
saline solution.
2. Hang the bottle or the bag.

Note: Hang the bottle or the bag a maximum
of 1 m above the standard rail. The lowest
possible attachment point is at the height of
the standard rail.
3. Open the roller clamp.
4. Fill the infusion set until it has been fully
primed.
5. Remove the protective cap from the pump
cartridge.
APC
6. Connect the pump cartridge and infusion
tube.
