PA 5 – Battery Exchange

1 Battery Exchange of PA 5

You purchased an exchange battery (mat. no. 106781) for your PA 5. To carry out the battery exchange, please
follow the instructions given in this product information.

1.1 Battery Exchange

1. Before exchanging the battery, switch off the PA 5.
NOTICE
When removing the cover, never turn the cover completely because the cables inside the manometer may unplug
or twist.
2. Open the PA 5 by carefully moving the cover back and forth.
3. In the opened PA 5 manometer is a small plug as shown in Figure 1. The plug connects the battery to the
PA 5.

4. To remove the battery, disconnect the battery first.
To disconnect the battery open the plug soldered to the battery. Use the screwdriver supplied with the PA 5
as shown in Figure 2.

5. To open the plug push the tip of the screwdriver into the central flange and push the two parts of the plug
apart as shown in Figure 3.
