Congratulations on your purchase of a quality
Orion field tripod! This full-featured, compact alu-
minum tripod provides solid support for binoculars,
small telescopes, still cameras, and video cam-
eras. Designed for use either indoors or outdoors,
the Tritech LT-1 features a 6.6-lb. load capac-
ity; three-section aluminum legs with flip style leg
locks; a smooth, three-way pan head; geared
center column; leg brace assembly for greater sta-
bility; ballast hook; bubble levels on both the tripod
and pan head; and an integrated carrying handle
for easy portability on your visual or photographic
jaunts. And it comes with a rugged soft case with
shoulder strap! Please take a few minutes to re-
view the parts and features of the tripod before
first use.
Care and Cleaning
Clean with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Use a soft
brush and air blower to remove sand and dust from lock-
ing threads and sliding sections. This tripod does not
require regular application of lubricant. Dry and/or clean
the tripod after use in wet, sandy, or dusty conditions.
Not recommended for use in salt water. Do not use in
temperatures lower than -22°F (-30°C). Do not exceed
the recommended load capacity.
