4.19 Flash Assembly

Replacement Procedure
•
Perform sections 2.1 - 2.9 of the disassembly procedure.
1. Lift the end of both capacitors out of their slots
as shown.
2. The portion of the flash assembly's flex film that
is circled in the picture is bonded to the board
frame by an adhesive film. Using a pry tool,
detach the adhered portion of the flash
assembly's flex film from the board frame.
3. Rotate the freed end of the flash assembly's flex
film about the flash element until the flash
assembly becomes free of the board frame.
