4.10 Keyfoil Support Plate

Replacement Procedure
•
Perform sections 2.1 - 2.8 of the disassembly procedure.
1. Dislodge the functional keyboard portion of the
keyfoil assembly from the support plate by
prying between the two parts in the two
locations indicated.
2. Near the middle of the bottom edge of the
numeric keyboard, slide one side of the tip of a
style 2A tweezers between the numeric
keyboard and keyfoil assembly.
3. Slightly rotate the tweezers tip away from the
numeric keyboard until the keyboard separates
from the support plate.
4. Lift the numeric keyboard from the keyfoil
assembly and set it aside.
